Based: HQ in Huntingdon/ Work from home (at manager’s discretion)
Hours: Full-time (37.5hrs/wk) 8.30am-4.30pm Mon–Fri with 30min lunch break.
Holiday: 26 Days paid annual leave plus bank holidays
Term: Permanent contract (standard UK employment ‘6 month probation’ applies).
Basic Salary: £39,112 to £49,542 based on track record in ecommerce packaging sector.
Commission: 2% uncapped on first 12 month spend of self-generated new/revived client (only 1% if not self-generated, closing a deal handed-over to you by a colleague)

Job Purpose:
To persuade senior buyers of both new prospects (20,000+ to include the major Internet Retailers) and former customers (4,000+) to place physical orders and/or accept a meeting to establish packaging needs.

Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities:
- Generate & attend face-to-face meetings on site/zoom/teams which should be supported by Outlook meeting invitations accepted by all relevant parties.
- Reach out to & cold call pre-qualified leads and generate your own leads when required using own initiative and industry knowledge to ensure targets/expectations are met.
- Geographically plan meeting dates/times to make the most efficient use of time/fuel.
- Max 100-character ‘Lil’ abbreviated log of each call on CRM/ERP (SPOCS).
- Ensure that database is well maintained (eg. POC, estimated spend, notes of target prices).
- Attend any relevant training courses and develop relevant knowledge, techniques, and skills.
- Adhere to stated policies/procedures relating to Health & Safety and Quality Management.
- In order to help in the efficiency and smooth running of the Company, you must recognise and fully accept that the company may require you to work in any section carrying out other duties within your capabilities, as workload requires.
