Lil’ Nashville is a new concept combining live country music, a true honky-tonk atmosphere, and Southern US BBQ food. As part of this exciting venture, we are looking for a passionate and experienced Front of House Manager to lead our team and ensure an outstanding guest experience. Our venue brings together live music, monthly events, and a vibrant bar and restaurant scene. We are a business born out of a passion for country music and Southern BBQ, with ambitious plans for growth. We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Front of House Manager to oversee all aspects of the front of house operation. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in high quality hospitality management and be skilled in leading teams, optimising service efficiency, and delivering a well-structured and seamless guest experience. You will play a critical role in ensuring the venue operates with precision while maintaining a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere for our guests.

Responsibilities:

• Team Management: Recruit, train, and manage the front of house team. Review performance, handle disciplinary actions, and build a strong, efficient team.
• Rostering & Staffing: Create and manage staff rotas, ensuring optimal staffing levels to balance high-quality service with cost efficiency.
• Service Excellence: Train staff to deliver a well-structured, high-level guest experience while maintaining a relaxed and inviting atmosphere.
• Booking & Reservations: Oversee the booking system, ensure deposits are taken for large groups, and minimise no-shows with pre-calls and confirmations. Handle booking queries and special event requirements.
• Table Turnover: Ensure efficient table management and turnaround times to maximise revenue while maintaining excellent service.
• Reputation Management: Monitor online and social media reviews, responding professionally to both positive and negative feedback.
• Corporate & Private Events: Manage corporate event bookings and private hires, ensuring seamless execution of special events.
• Health & Safety Compliance: Ensure the venue meets all health and safety regulations, including food safety, fire safety, and licensing requirements.
• Customer Service & Problem Solving: Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and feedback, ensuring issues are resolved promptly and professionally.
• Sales & Performance Initiatives: Set staff incentives and key performance indicators (KPIs) to drive revenue, upselling, and service quality.
• Business Representation: Act as a key representative of Lil’ Nashville, embodying the brand values and ensuring all staff deliver a consistent and exceptional experience.

Desired Qualities:

• Proven experience in front of house or restaurant management in a high quality, high volume environment.
• Strong leadership and people management skills.
• Demonstrable success in training, motivating and developing successful teams from scratch.
• Excellent organisational and multitasking abilities.
• Passion for hospitality, customer service, and the Lil’ Nashville brand.
• Experience with booking systems and reservation management.
• Ability to work hospitality hours, including evenings and weekends.
• Knowledge of health and safety regulations and licensing requirements.
