What You’ll Do
- Maintain the right stock levels to support our key UK clients, ensuring demand and supply align with business goals.
- Manage and forecast demand using planning tools and channel data.
- Recommend purchasing aligned with vendor lead times.
- Participate in weekly stock reviews to optimise inventory.
- Handle urgent stock requirements and fast‑turnaround orders.
- Build strong relationships with Finance, Sales, and Operations teams.
- Monitor and resolve order delays using purchase order reports.
- Create insightful reports for senior management on planning KPIs and budget performance.
- Suggest improvements to systems/tools for better planning and profitability.
- Proactively manage inventory across our Distribution Centre to meet key metrics.
- Prevent over‑ordering by aligning purchasing cycles with forecast cycles.
- Collaborate with vendors and internal teams to mitigate stock risks.
- Maintain tools and systems for accuracy—especially for new launches or discontinuations.
- Share forecasts with stakeholders to support forward planning (Vendor CPFR).
- Follow all data protection and information security guidelines.
What You’ll Bring
- Experience in purchasing, inventory management, replenishment, or planning.
- Strong Excel skills and analytical mindset.
- Great communicator with a proactive, solution‑focused attitude.
- Ability to manage deadlines and maintain attention to detail.
- FMCG or fast‑paced supply chain experience (desirable).
- Understanding of the consumer tech or retail environment.
- Confident working cross‑functionally with both internal teams and external partners.
