What This Role Is All About

Likewize Support provides knowledge solutions and technical support for a range of world‑class brands, from banks and cell‑phone networks to retailers. Our Digital Delivery function creates the content for those support tools, underpinned by continuous insight. Do you have a passion for language and delivering exceptional content experiences? Are you fluent in French and ready to help shape localised content for global brands? If so, we would love to hear from you as we are seeking a proactive, detail‑oriented Language Specialist to join our team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Review translations of new and existing content, ensuring accuracy, clarity and cultural relevance.
  • Test and proofread various content formats, including scripts and text within imagery, before they go live with our clients.
  • Maintain tonality, formality, and linguistic consistency across all translated content.
  • Use internal tools to identify and edit text within images that require translations into the native language.
  • Regularly review and update existing assets to ensure accuracy and relevance.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, client stakeholders and external linguist resources to ensure consistency across all language variants.
  • Act as a subject‑matter expert for French within the team, providing guidance and support.
  • Research and source relevant, appropriate, and trusted materials to fact‑check content uploaded to client sites.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Fluency in French with strong grammar and spelling skills.
  • Proficiency in written and spoken English.
  • Proven experience in translating and proofreading content across multiple formats.
  • Familiarity with Content Management Systems (CMS) and localisation tools (preferred).
  • Ability to explain complex concepts clearly and without ambiguity.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and organisational skills.
  • Experience collaborating with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Knowledge of usability, accessibility and content best practices.
  • Proactive, confident and solution‑focused with a strong sense of ownership.
