Liift is an independent live music promoter based in Manchester. Every year we put on hundreds of shows across the country, from intimate grassroots gigs through to large-scale outdoor events, programming more than 20 venues plus a growing number of outdoor sites. Our artists span the full spectrum — early-stage acts finding their audience right up to established headliners.

THE OPPORTUNITY

We're growing our promoter team and want to hear from experienced promoters who can join us with an existing roster and take it further. This is a role for someone with the contacts, the ear, and the ambition to build their own roster of shows and make a real mark — not to assist, but to lead their own projects from the ground up. You'll have genuine autonomy over what you book and how you grow it, with the backing of a tight-knit, hard-grafting team and the infrastructure to deliver shows at any scale. We're looking for someone sharp, driven, and well-organised, who works calmly when things get busy and has a real instinct for spotting talent before everyone else does.

WHAT THE JOB INVOLVES

  • Routing, budgeting, advancing, settling, and marketing shows with the assistance of the full team
  • Building and growing your own artist roster
  • Sourcing the right supports across your own shows and our wider programme
  • Reading the market, following emerging talent, and nurturing long-term relationships
  • Working closely with agents and managers to develop artists in the live space
  • Keeping communication tight across the team so shows run smoothly
  • Getting out to gigs around the country regularly

WHAT YOU'LL BRING

  • An existing roster of artists and solid industry relationships
  • A real feel for the live scene and new music, here and internationally
  • Familiarity with new-music playlists and the blogs that matter
  • Confidence with Google Workspace and the numbers side — building and managing budgets
  • A polished, professional manner with artists, agents, and managers
  • Strong written and verbal communication
  • Sharp attention to detail and the ability to juggle priorities
  • A committed, switched-on approach and someone people can rely on
  • An approachable, outgoing personality
  • A driving licence is a plus
