About the Role: We are seeking a full-time Arboricultural Surveyor to join our dynamic team. This role combines work-from-home opportunities (~2 days per week) with regular site visits (~3 days per week). Key Responsibilities: Conduct BS5837 surveys, tree condition surveys, and arboricultural supervisions. Produce high-quality reports, including condition assessments, impact assessments and method statements. Represent Ligna Consultancy in meetings and site supervisions. Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients. Maintain regular virtual contact with the main office. Qualifications: 2+ years of arboricultural surveying experience. Level 3-5 Diploma, FdSc, BSc, or Professional Diploma in Arboriculture (or equivalent). Lantra PTI (preferred). Full UK Driving License with no more than 3 points. Familiarity with CAD/GIS software (e.g., AutoCAD, QGIS) is advantageous. Skills: Proficiency in BS5837 tree surveys and tree condition surveys. Strong attention to detail and ability to produce independent, high-quality reports. Competence in Microsoft Excel and Word. Effective problem-solving skills, both independently and in teams. Traits: Trustworthy, punctual, and professional demeanour. Passionate about continual learning and professional growth. Enthusiasm for outdoor work, as this role involves substantial fieldwork. Collaborative team player with excellent interpersonal skills. Benefits: Salary of £28,000£32,000 (DOE), reviewed annually. 30 days of paid annual leave, including bank holidays (pro rata).
