This is a full-time, on-site role for an Electrician, based in the UK. The Electrician will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems in both residential and commercial properties. Responsibilities include troubleshooting electrical issues, performing routine maintenance, upgrading systems, and ensuring all work complies with current safety and regulatory standards. The Electrician will collaborate with clients and team members to deliver high-quality solutions tailored to specific project needs. This role will ideally start off as self-employed; however, full-time employment can be offered to the correct candidate. We are looking for someone that will be willing to travel, with early starts being essential.
Qualifications
- Strong knowledge and expertise in Electricity and Electrical Work
- Proficiency in Maintenance & Repair and Troubleshooting of electrical systems
- Familiarity with Electrical Engineering principles
- Ability to read and interpret drawings and specifications
- Attention to safety standards and regulations
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Relevant certifications or qualifications in electrical work (e.g., NVQ, City & Guilds, or equivalent)
- Previous experience in domestic, commercial, or industrial electrical projects
- ECS gold card preferred
