LightWork AI is building the operating system for modern property management. Our platform, Felicity, is an intelligent AI assistant that automates the operational workload that slows down property managers, letting agents and build-to-rent teams. Felicity manages communications, compliance workflows, maintenance coordination and scheduling — enabling property businesses to operate with the efficiency of modern digital platforms.
The UK property management services industry is a £33B market undergoing a structural shift toward automation. Property teams currently spend up to 75% of their time on repetitive operational admin, and our AI is designed to automate 80–90% of these workflows. We are live with pilot customers with strong demand as we scale toward revenue in 2026. LightWork AI is backed by experienced founders, industry advisors, and investors. We're a small team moving at uncommon pace.
About the Role
We're hiring a Talent Acquisition Specialist to own hiring end-to-end and build a recruiting function that operates the way the rest of our company does — with AI doing the heavy lifting. You'll manage the full hiring lifecycle across tech, product, operations and business functions, and you'll use Claude as a daily collaborator: sourcing, screening, drafting, synthesising interview feedback, and building lightweight automations. We are not looking for a traditional recruiter who will adopt AI eventually. We want someone who already works this way and can show us how. This is a full‐time, dedicated role — we cannot consider candidates with other employment or concurrent study. Candidates outside the UK must work hours equivalent to UK business hours (approximately 9:00–18:00 GMT/BST).
What You'll Do
- Recruitment
- Own end-to-end recruitment across tech, product, operations and business functions.
- Source through LinkedIn, GitHub, Kaggle, job boards and specialist platforms (Jack & Jill, Jumpstart) — augmented with AI‐powered sourcing, outreach and research.
- Screen, interview and manage candidates through the full pipeline at startup pace.
- Refine and document hiring SOPs so they're reusable and AI‐executable, not just human‐memorisable.
- Manage multiple open roles simultaneously without quality dropping.
- AI & Automation
- Use Claude (or Claude‐class tools) every day for candidate research, outreach drafting, screening note synthesis, interview prep, and offer comms.
- Build and maintain lightweight recruiting automations — scheduling, CRM hygiene, pipeline reporting — using tools like n8n, Zapier, Make, or scripts you prompt an LLM to write.
- Design prompts and reusable workflows the rest of the team can run. Treat your own workflow as a product.
- Measure what AI changes: time‐to‐hire, sourcing throughput, candidate response rates — and tell us what you moved.
- People Ops Support
- Support onboarding so every new hire has a structured, high‐quality first experience.
- Assist with employee lifecycle admin — contracts, documentation, offboarding — automating where sensible.
- Act as the first point of contact for HR queries and maintain people policies as we scale.
- Support performance review cycles and surface people issues to leadership.
Requirements
- 3+ years in recruitment — internal, agency, or a mix.
- Proven ability to recruit across technical and non‐technical functions.
- Experience recruiting for European or US markets.
- Fluent, daily use of LLM tools (Claude, ChatGPT, Gemini) in your actual recruiting workflow — not occasional or experimental. We will ask you to walk us through your current workflow in the interview and show real prompts, outputs or automations.
- Working knowledge of HR fundamentals: employment basics, onboarding, documentation, employee relations.
- Strong written and verbal communication — you're often the first impression of LightWork AI.
- Comfortable working independently with multiple priorities at pace.
Nice‐to‐Have
- Hired into AI, engineering, or product teams before.
- Experience building your own tooling — Zapier / n8n / Make / custom prompts / API calls / light scripting.
- CIPD or other HR certification.
- Prior startup or scale‐up experience.
- Familiarity with modern ATS and AI‐native sourcing platforms.
What we offer
- Competitive base salary with performance‐based bonuses and accelerated pay review for strong early performance.
- A collaborative team that values excellence and continuous improvement.
- A seat at the table — real impact on how LightWork builds its people function from scratch.
- A team that expects you to use AI every day and will build with you, not around you.
