Reporting to the Manager, Hospitality PMM and working closely with other Hospitality PMMs based in EMEA and APAC, you will define our go-to-market strategy, positioning, messaging, and competitive differentiation while working closely with Product, Strategy, Sales, and Customer teams to refine product-market fit. This role is ideal for a strategic thinker who can develop persona documents, messaging frameworks, and identify opportunities to increase the adoption and usage of your product portfolio.

At Lightspeed, as Senior Product Marketing Manager, you will build relationships throughout the organization. You will interact with diverse stakeholders such as product, marketing, sales, customer service, partnerships and others in order to help shape product roadmap and accelerate the launch and lifecycle management of our various products.

What you’ll be responsible for:

  • Own product positioning and messaging for your portfolio, ensuring clarity, differentiation, and alignment across all customer touchpoints.
  • Deeply understand the Hospitality industry, including market dynamics, customer needs, and the technology landscape that empowers restaurateurs to succeed.
  • Lead competitive and market analysis, including win/loss research and industry trend monitoring, using insights to shape product strategy, messaging, and go-to-market (GTM) execution.
  • Conduct ongoing customer research, including interviews and surveys, to build and maintain a deep understanding of customer personas, needs, and behaviours.
  • Drive go-to-market strategy and execution for new and existing products in your portfolio, collaborating cross-functionally and owning the performance of GTM initiatives.
  • Define and influence key product metrics (e.g. adoption, NPS, retention) in close partnership with Product, Sales, and Customer Success teams.
  • Identify and track KPIs that will help drive the overall success of your product portfolio.
  • Develop roadmap of marketing initiatives that spans the customer lifecycle, from initial launch through product adoption, onboarding and retention.
  • Being the go-to person for messaging around your product portfolio and value proposition.
  • Develop collaborative relationships with various cross-functional teams, including Marketing, Product Managers, GTM leadership, and production teams of creatives and automation specialists.
  • Act as the key liaison for go-to-market teams in your region. Leverage insights from internal stakeholders and customers to optimize funnel and enhance enablement material.
  • Collaborate with Creative, Content, and Product teams to develop compelling, customer-centric content and campaigns that drive impact.

What you need to bring to the team:

  • 5+ years experience working in product marketing, growth or lifecycle marketing, or similar go-to-market experience.
  • Previous background in SaaS marketing, or with exposure to small business audiences.
  • Strong strategic thinking with experience in positioning, messaging, and driving product growth.
  • Proven ability to collaborate across teams and influence senior stakeholders.
  • Strong research and quantitative skills to generate market insights and competitor intelligence.
  • Excellent project management and communication skills to lead and influence multiple cross-functional and cross-regional stakeholders to meet project objectives and deadlines.
  • Genuine interest in and curiosity in helping small businesses succeed.
  • Bilingual proficiency in English and German/French.

Even better if you have, but not necessary:

  • Experience in the hospitality industry in any capacity is a strong asset!
  • MBA or Product Marketing Alliance certification.
