Lightspeed is looking for a Field Sales Account Executive to join our growing Scotland hospo field sales team. You will be implementing a strategy that requires a physical presence in either Glasgow or Edinburgh. Each month, you will drive the sales cycle from lead generation to closing deals.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Becoming an expert in the UK Hospo industry
  • Monitoring competitors, their products, and marketing strategies
  • Researching, forecasting sales, developing sales strategies, and evaluating their effectiveness in your catchment area
  • Converting prospects into customers through in-person methods like door-to-door, cold calling, and presentations
  • Managing the entire sales cycle: identifying leads, client meetings, creating value propositions, structuring deals, negotiating, and closing
  • Visiting customers regularly to identify challenges and pain points
  • Conducting in-person demonstrations of the retail product
  • Maintaining records in Salesforce CRM
  • Creating new business through networking events

What you’ll be bringing:

  • Relevant sales experience in field and outbound environments, preferably in solution-sales or technology
  • Strong hospitality experience
  • Understanding of sales development practices
  • Effective time management skills
  • Proven ability to meet/exceed sales targets
  • Experience with Salesforce or similar CRM tools
  • Ability to thrive in a competitive, dynamic, quota-driven environment
  • Proficiency in English; additional languages are a plus
