Lightspeed is looking for a Field Sales Account Executive to join our growing UK Hospo team. You will be implementing a strategy that requires a physical presence across Leeds. Each month, you will drive the sales cycle from lead generation to demonstrations and closing deals.
Lightspeed’s Hospitality team is in hyper-growth mode. Our process has been refined and optimized at a smaller scale in recent years, and now it is time to expand our team and reach.
What you’ll be doing:
- Become an expert in the UK Hospo industry.
- Monitor competitors, their products, and marketing strategies.
- Research and forecast sales, develop sales strategies, and evaluate their effectiveness within your catchment area.
- Convert prospects into customers through in-person methods such as door-to-door, cold calling, and presentations.
- Manage the entire sales cycle: lead development, client meetings, value propositions, financial deals, negotiations, and closing.
- Visit customers regularly to identify business challenges and pain points.
- Conduct in-person demonstrations of the hospitality product.
- Maintain up-to-date records in Salesforce CRM.
- Process sales quotes and deadlines accurately.
- Collaborate with marketing and sales teams to develop new strategies based on market insights.
- Drive performance to meet monthly, quarterly, and annual goals.
- Create new business through networking events.
What you’ll be bringing:
- Relevant sales experience in field and outbound environments, preferably in solution-sales or technology-related roles.
- Strong experience in hospitality.
- Understanding of sales development best practices.
- Effective time management skills.
- Excellent customer service, listening, verbal, and written communication skills.
- Proven ability to meet or exceed sales targets.
- Experience with Salesforce or similar CRM tools.
- Proficiency in English; additional languages are a plus.
- An entrepreneurial, agile mindset with a bias toward action and adaptability.
