Lightspeed Systems is expanding its global presence and is seeking a Strategic Account Director to lead enterprise growth across key international education markets.

About The Role

  • Drive international expansion by developing enterprise growth strategies, managing complex cross-border sales cycles, and representing Lightspeed in global education forums.

About You

  • Develop and execute enterprise growth strategies across designated international regions.
  • Engage ministries of education, large private school networks, and international education consortiums.
  • Lead complex cross-border sales cycles and strategic procurement processes.
  • Build relationships with global partners, resellers, and channel alliances.
  • Represent Lightspeed at international conferences, summits, and education leadership forums.
  • Identify expansion opportunities within multinational or global customer accounts.
  • Provide market insights and strategic feedback to leadership, product, and go-to-market teams.

Required Qualifications

  • 8+ years of enterprise sales experience, preferably in EdTech, SaaS, or education markets.
  • Experience selling internationally or working with government or large consortium structures.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage complex, multi-stakeholder sales cycles.
  • Strong executive communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to operate across time zones and travel internationally.
  • Experience working across multiple international education markets.
  • Background in government procurement or ministry-level education programs.
  • Experience building strategic partnerships or channel relationships globally.
