The position sits within the GRC team. Its core objective is to bring in an expert with mature GaaS product experience to provide systematic methodologies and project enablement in long-term live product content planning, economy systems, monetization strategy, and lifecycle management.

Responsibilities

  • Market Research & GaaS Trend Insights: Continuously track global GaaS trends, including long-term content structures, seasonal systems, economy design, and growth models. Conduct systematic analyses of top global GaaS products to summarise success factors, business models, and design frameworks. Produce industry analyses and growth insights for senior leadership and project teams.
  • Product Evaluation & Project Enablement: Provide expert guidance on economy systems, monetization structures, content pacing, retention, and growth strategies for key GaaS projects. Participate in prototype reviews, key milestone assessments, and Soft Launch evaluations, delivering actionable optimisation paths. Support projects in building long-term content planning (LTV structure, seasonal templates, event systems, monetization touchpoints, etc.). Assist teams in assessing monetisation risks, balance issues, and growth opportunities.
  • Methodology & Framework Development: Build GaaS evaluation systems, including economy system frameworks, long-term content planning templates, and monetisation assessment models. Consolidate best practices from successful GaaS projects into reusable internal standards and tools. Enhance team-wide GaaS strategic capabilities through trainings, workshops, and case studies.
  • Cross-Team Collaboration & Strategic Support: Collaborate closely with producers, data teams, monetisation teams, and growth teams to drive GaaS strategies into execution. Provide opportunity assessments and investment recommendations for GaaS categories to strategy teams. Support major project decision points by offering monetisation and growth perspectives.

Who We Look For

Experience Background: 5+ years of experience in GaaS, economy design, or monetisation design. Proven experience launching GaaS products, serving as a core or lead designer (Lead Designer / Economy Lead / Monetisation Lead). Familiarity with mainstream GaaS genres such as shooters, RPGs, strategy, competitive titles, and social MMO.

Professional Skills: Able to design complete economy systems, monetisation structures, seasonal systems, and event loops. Strong understanding of monetisation models including IAP, Battle Pass, Gacha, Cosmetic systems, and Subscription models. Capable of designing long-term retention structures (LTV, loops, content cadence, etc.). Able to break down growth mechanisms of leading GaaS titles and develop structured methodologies.

General Skills: Strong cross-team collaboration and structured communication capabilities. Data-driven mindset, able to make high-quality judgments under uncertainty. Cross-cultural collaboration experience is a plus.

Language & Location: Strong business-level English proficiency is essential. Open to overseas placement or long-term collaboration with overseas teams (NL/UK).
