We are seeking a highly motivated and detail‑oriented English Producer to join our localization team. In this pivotal role, you will manage the end‑to‑end localization process from Chinese to English for a variety of engaging game projects. As a native English speaker, you possess a passion for gaming, a deep understanding of localization best practices, and exceptional communication and organizational skills. You will collaborate closely with our internal localization, publishing, and development teams, ensuring the delivery of high‑quality, culturally relevant, and captivating game content tailored for Western audiences. This role also encompasses team leadership and the development of linguistic expertise within the English localization team.

  • Translation and Localization Oversight: Review, proofread, and evaluate game‑related content where English is the target language, ensuring adherence to established quality standards. Leverage AI technologies to enhance efficiency and quality, while preserving the essence of the game, where applicable.
  • Team Management and Capability Enhancement: Lead the English language team, safeguarding the final localization quality of our games. Strategically reallocate internal and external linguists across projects based on workload, and facilitate the successful onboarding of team members to new projects. Cultivate and develop the capabilities of the English language team, including skills in dubbing supervision, competitor analysis, and user insights. Identify and provide relevant training opportunities to support team growth.
  • Cultural Sensitivity (Western Market): Analyze and address culturally sensitive issues relevant to the Western market. Contribute to the development of comprehensive internationalization and localization guidelines for our developers and publishers. Provide in‑depth localization and language strategies specifically tailored for Western audiences. Mitigate potential risks, ensuring that game content resonates with Western cultural norms and preferences.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate closely with game developers and publishing teams, providing valuable localization insights and strategies to ensure high‑quality localization outcomes. Oversee the work of linguists to consistently maintain exceptional localization quality.

Who We Look For: Native English speaker with excellent written and verbal communication skills. Conversational/fluent proficiency in Mandarin Chinese is highly desirable. A minimum of 5 years of experience in game localization (Chinese to English) and production, with team management experience preferred. A strong understanding of gaming terminology and trends is essential for successful localization. Deep understanding of the Western gaming industry, its culture, and gaming community. Cultural awareness is crucial for effective content adaptation. Strong attention to detail, excellent problem‑solving skills, and a user‑centric approach.
