We are searching for a Full Cycle Account Executive based in London, dedicated to driving new business growth across the EMEA region. As a Full Cycle Account Executive, you will be instrumental in fuelling Lightspeed’s revenue growth by owning the entire sales process - from prospecting through to closing.
Your primary responsibility will be to identify, engage, and secure high-value clients within the Hospitality industry. Acting as a trusted advisor, you will develop a deep understanding of each client’s unique challenges and opportunities, then deliver tailored Lightspeed solutions that showcase clear value and inspire long‑term partnerships. This role is ideal for a proactive, results‑driven sales professional with a consistent record of exceeding sales targets in a direct sales environment.
What you will be doing:
- Make a high volume of outbound sales calls to qualified leads, driving customer acquisition, pipeline growth, and business development opportunities.
- Understand prospects’ business challenges and align Lightspeed’s solutions to deliver measurable value and impact.
- Build and maintain long‑term client relationships, providing exceptional service throughout the full sales cycle.
- Negotiate and close deals with professionalism, contributing directly to revenue growth.
- Collaborate with teams across Marketing, Product, and Operations to ensure a seamless and consistent customer experience.
- Consistently achieve or exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets in a fast‑paced, results‑driven environment.
- Keep CRM (e.g., Salesforce) updated with accurate sales activity, ensuring clear pipeline visibility and reliable forecasting.
- Stay informed on hospitality and retail tech trends, competitor offerings, and evolving customer needs to refine your outreach and strategy.
- Contribute as part of the wider team to achieve organisational objectives even if this means doing things that aren’t strictly within the scope of your role.
What you need to bring:
- Experience in outbound, customer‑facing sales, ideally within SaaS, POS, retail, hospitality, or broader technology sectors.
- Proven success managing 360° sales cycles, from prospecting and cold calling to closing complex deals and overcoming objections.
- Strong consultative sales approach, with the ability to identify customer pain points and demonstrate clear ROI through tailored solutions.
- Knowledge of SaaS sales and the operational needs of retail and hospitality businesses; direct industry experience is a plus.
- Proficient in using CRM tools like Salesforce to manage pipeline, forecast accurately, and track all sales activity.
