We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Senior Partner Manager to join our growing Partnerships team in EMEA Retail, with a strong focus on the UK and ROMEA market. In this role, you will develop and maintain strong relationships with both prospective and existing partners to drive revenue growth across the region. You will identify, build, and scale strategic partnerships that bring new merchants to Lightspeed, with a particular emphasis on the Netherlands. This role combines business development, partner enablement, and sales execution—ensuring partners have the tools, training, and incentives to generate high-quality leads and pipeline.
You will lead commercial discussions, negotiate agreements, and oversee a seamless onboarding experience while collaborating closely with partners to maximize pipeline and revenue in a fast-growing and competitive market.
What you’ll be doing:
- Build and grow strategic referral partnerships across EMEA, focusing on both prospective and existing partners in the Dutch market.
- Identify new partnership opportunities while expanding and strengthening relationships with current partners to drive incremental revenue.
- Develop, manage, and sustain a high-quality pipeline through proactive outbound prospecting and partner collaboration.
- Lead commercial discussions, negotiate agreements, and oversee a seamless onboarding experience for new partners.
- Enable and support existing partners through training, sales support, and co-selling initiatives to maximize performance.
- Design and implement incentive programs and promotions to motivate partners and boost lead-generation productivity.
- Collaborate closely with Strategic Sales teams across EMEA to generate high-quality leads and ensure consistent pipeline follow-up.
- Act as the main point of contact and advocate for partners within Lightspeed, building strong internal alignment.
- Provide monthly, quarterly, and yearly pipeline reporting and forecasts to senior management.
- Deliver measurable ROI, insights, and reporting on partnership impact to drive market share growth and brand awareness.
- Stay informed on local and regional market trends, competitor activity, and industry developments.
- Represent Lightspeed at industry events, trade shows, and networking opportunities across EMEA.
What you need to bring:
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets in partnerships, channel sales, or business development roles.
- Experience managing both new business (prospecting) and existing partner relationships (account management/growth).
- SaaS sales experience, ideally within retail or hospitality.
- Strong understanding of the UK market and its commercial landscape.
- Ability to develop and execute partner growth strategies.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Experience working cross-functionally in an international environment.
- Proficiency with Salesforce, Google Workspace, Slack, and Microsoft Office.
- A proactive, self-starter mindset with strong ownership and accountability.
- Resilience, adaptability, and a results-driven attitude.
Language requirements: Fluency in English is required. Additional European languages are a plus.
