Job Purpose

  • You will bring a blend of sales skills and project management.
  • You will support our fantastic Wholesale Team and Networks Business Unit in generating, qualifying, negotiating and closing sales opportunities.
  • Oversee the entire sales lifecycle from lead generation through to deal closure.
  • Manage the tasks and activities involved in each stage of the sales process.
  • Manage all sales related documents, ensuring that they are up-to-date and accessible to the Wholesale Managing Director and the sales team.
  • Ensure that the sales team strategy, processes, procedures and KPIs are up-to-date and being consistently adhered to and tracked.
  • Identify and address potential risks of delays or bottlenecks in the sales process.
  • Analyse sales pipeline performance to identify areas for improvement and optimisation.
  • Use pipeline data to create accurate sales forecasts and track progress towards revenue targets.
  • Live and breathe our core values, making certain that trusting relationships with key internal and external stakeholders are developed and maintained.
  • Maintain open and effective communication with the sales team, stakeholders and the end customers.

Knowledge, Skills & Experience

  • Extensive previous experience in managing sales pipelines, leading project teams, and achieving sales goals within the utility sector, preferably within Telecoms/Fibre.
  • Several years of experience in sales support and customer-focused positions.
  • Have a detailed understanding of the sales pipeline stages and have a track record of moving opportunities through each stage effectively.
  • Ability to plan projects, allocate resources, track progress, and ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
  • Solid grasp of data analysis and performance metrics.
  • Ability to diagnose problems quickly and foresee potential issues, acting with the minimum of guidance and supervision to ensure success.
  • Ability to communicate with stakeholders at all levels.
