This dynamic and proactive role thrives on driving initiatives forward with urgency and focus, fostering seamless collaboration across diverse business units to ensure IT delivery is tightly aligned to the organisation's evolving goals and priorities.

With a strong delivery mindset, the role will be deeply involved in end‐to‐end platform capability delivery, taking accountability for outcomes and swiftly resolving roadblocks. Acting as the guardian of requirements and backlog prioritisation, the Product Owner expertly balances competing demands to maximise efficiency and responsiveness, while shielding technical teams from distractions and unnecessary disruptions.

This role demands a driven, solutions‐oriented leader who champions continuous innovation and relentlessly pushes scalable solutions that unlock tangible business value. Through assertive stakeholder engagement, Agile best practices, and a commitment to delivery excellence, the Product Owner accelerates the pace of platform evolution to power the organisation's strategic success.

Key Responsibilities
  • Own and continuously evolve the strategic roadmap for the IFS platform, reflecting the business's objectives, priorities, and evolving needs.
  • Act as the delivery focused liaison for key business units, engaging stakeholders to gather and validate requirements, facilitate cross‐department prioritisation, and lead business forums focused on aligning priorities, roadmap progress, and delivery performance.
  • Communicate delivery plans, progress, and changes transparently across all stakeholders to ensure alignment and drive consistent realisation of business value.
  • Own and prioritise the product backlog, ensuring alignment with strategic priorities, technical feasibility, and stakeholder expectations.
  • Oversee business readiness for deployments, coordinating with change management, communications, and training teams to maximise adoption and benefits realisation.
  • Champion agile delivery principles, ensuring well‐defined user stories, acceptance criteria, and defect resolution processes.
  • Facilitate continuous improvement feedback loops between business users and the technical team to enhance platform value and usability.
  • Ensure platform compliance with security, data privacy, and enterprise governance standards, mitigating risks associated with knowledge sharing and retention.
  • Define KPIs, track platform performance, monitor feature adoption, and iterate on the product based on quantitative and qualitative data.
  • Actively participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies (planning, refinement, demo, and retrospectives), providing clarity on user stories and acceptance criteria to development teams.
  • Partner closely with the Technical Lead and delivery teams to ensure technical and business alignment, balancing feasibility, capacity, and strategic value.
  • Monitor market and internal trends to anticipate shifts in business priorities and incorporate them into the platform roadmap.
Required Skills and Experience
  • Proven experience as a Product Owner or Platform Owner in complex enterprise IT environments, delivering scalable and high‐impact solutions.
  • Strong business stakeholder management skills, with demonstrated ability to build consensus and align diverse cross‐functional teams around a common vision and objectives.
  • Expertise in strategic planning, and product roadmap development, ensuring initiatives align with organisational goals and deliver measurable business value.
  • Proficient with industry‐standard tools such as ServiceNow, Strategic Portfolio Management (SPM), Azure DevOps (ADO), or equivalent product and portfolio management platforms.
  • Deep Agile methodology expertise, including backlog prioritisation, sprint planning, iterative delivery, user story creation, and continuous stakeholder engagement.
