This is an exciting opportunity for a global website manager to help drive marketing and communication strategies and promote the Lightsource bp brand through engaging global website design and development and content creation. The successful candidate will also be experienced in technical maintenance, search engine optimization (SEO), digital marketing integration and user experience improvement. This role requires a strategic thinker with a strong background in website management, marketing and writing as well as experience in measuring the effectiveness of brand initiatives and making data-driven adjustments. The successful candidate will be a team player, working with agencies, contractors and suppliers whilst helping manage team workload and meeting deadlines.
Duties and responsibilities:
- Create, edit and update global website content including text, images, videos, blog posts and white papers ensuring accuracy and consistency across all pages.
- Monitor global and regional website performances, troubleshoot technical issues, manage domain registrations, hosting, and security updates.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve global website ranking on search engines through keyword research, meta description, and site structure optimization.
- Analyse user feedback and data to optimize website navigation, design, and functionality for seamless user experience.
- Track website traffic, user behaviour and key performance indicators using analytics tools and platforms to identify areas for improvement.
- Working with the global marketing team, help grow brand awareness/recognition and drive traffic to the global corporate website through various channels including social media and email marketing.
- Provide regular analytical reports and insights to inform decision making and optimize global corporate marketing strategies.
- Monitor and track the company and competitors utilizing media monitoring and other platforms.
