Responsibilities

  • Deliver project outputs to scope, time and budget: translate project objectives into measurable milestones and acceptance criteria; execute plans to deliver agreed outputs, monitor spending and escalate deviations early to protect outcomes.
  • Own operational plans and a single source of truth (SSoT): maintain and govern up-to-date project plans, task lists, backlogs, dates, owners, dependencies and risks so the team has one reliable dataset for prioritisation and decision-making.
  • Coordinate resources, vendors and cross-project dependencies: secure and allocate internal and third-party resources, manage capacity and portfolio overlaps, and proactively resolve inter-project dependencies to keep delivery on track.
  • Support stakeholder coordination, clear communication and decision-making: align stakeholders, prepare concise meeting artefacts, run decision-focused forums, capture actions/owners and follow up to ensure timely inputs and approvals.
  • Manage day-to-day risks, issues and change control end-to-end: own risk and issue logs, quantify impacts, implement mitigations, apply change control for scope/schedule/cost changes and escalations.
  • Facilitate delivery team performance and capability: remove blockers, coordinate BAs and vendors, ensure tasks have owners and realistic estimates, and coach PM/BA colleagues to model strong delivery behaviours.
  • Provide reliable reporting and drive continuous improvement: produce concise, data-driven weekly status updates, track commitments vs outcomes, capture lessons learned and propose small process improvements to raise delivery quality.

Qualifications

  • Strong understanding of project management approaches and methods.
  • Experience in agile and traditional (waterfall/hybrid) delivery methods with the ability to tailor approaches as needed.
  • 2-4 years hands-on project management delivering digital and non-digital projects.
  • Good negotiation skills and ability to develop strong working relationships.
  • Strong stakeholder management and commercial awareness.
  • Analytical mindset with keen attention to detail and a desire to probe deeper into data.
  • Initiative, ownership, and ability to adapt to continually changing priorities and aggressive project timeframes.
  • Proficiency in MS Project, Planner, Excel, PowerBI.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills; Bachelor or Master degree in computing, project, or business management, or general education with project management experience.
  • Project management certifications are an advantage.
