We are Lightsource bp – and we’re on a mission to become a global leader in onshore renewables, anchored by our proven track record in solar development. For over a decade we’ve been actively working to diversify the way our world is powered with sustainable and responsible renewable power. We work to safely deliver affordable, reliable, large-scale onshore renewable and energy storage solutions to help the world decarbonise. Our growing business is constantly innovating and investing to help drive the energy transition. Our people and projects are focused on supporting long‑term sustainable growth and energy security.
Lightsource bp operates with five core values: Safety, Integrity, Respect, Sustainability, and Drive. We seek to attract and hire individuals who share our commitment to creating a safe workplace, uphold the highest standards of integrity, and demonstrate respect for colleagues, communities, and the environment. Our recruitment process promotes sustainability by valuing long‑term growth and responsible practices, while seeking candidates with the drive to innovate and lead in the global energy transition.
The LSbp Global Performance & Monitoring team sits within the Asset Services business, acting as the nerve centre through which all asset data flows on a daily basis. The insights generated by the team are disseminated across Lightsource, providing the foundation for data‑based decision‑making. We measure our success by the performance of our international fleet of assets, as well as by the service we provide to our O&M and Asset Management colleagues, in the form of data feeds, reporting, insight generation, and recommendations.
The team is seeking to recruit an Associate Performance Analyst who will support the team’s ability to manage our team’s portfolio of assets under management, currently sitting at 2.5 GWp globally. The successful candidate will be based in Bath, joining an existing Performance team of six UK‑based colleagues, as well as an additional seven Spain‑based colleagues.

The successful candidate will play a role in the mentorship and development of less experienced team members. The role will also require ongoing asset performance analysis, calculation of KPIs (availability, performance ratios, etc.) and reporting both to be used internally and those delivered to asset owners, financial lenders, and tax equity partners. High rigour in reporting and analytical mindset are required for success in this role.
