We are seeking a Client Relationship Manager to manage and grow our existing client portfolio. This role is central to ensuring client satisfaction, retention, and long-term value, while also identifying opportunities to expand services across accounts.
You will act as a trusted advisor to clients, ensuring they receive high-quality service and commercially sound guidance in a dynamic energy market.
Role Overview
The Client Relationship Manager will be responsible for maintaining strong client relationships, overseeing account performance, and ensuring the effective delivery of consultancy and brokerage services.
Key Responsibilities
- Building and maintaining strong, long-term relationships with clients to ensure high retention levels
- Acting as the primary point of contact for client communication and account management
- Managing and reviewing client accounts to ensure services align with contractual and commercial objectives
- Identifying and developing new business opportunities within existing accounts (cross-sell and upsell)
- Supporting clients with energy procurement strategies, contract renewals, and cost optimisation opportunities
- Resolving client queries efficiently while maintaining a high standard of service delivery
- Collaborating with internal teams (sales, procurement, and technical specialists) to meet client needs
- Monitoring energy market trends and providing relevant, informed insights to clients
- Ensuring accurate record-keeping, CRM updates, and reporting on account activity
What We’re Looking For
- Experience in client relationship management, account management, or B2B customer success
- Background in energy, utilities, brokerage, or consultancy services (highly desirable)
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to identify commercial opportunities within existing client relationships
- Good understanding of service delivery and client lifecycle management
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
- Proactive approach with the ability to manage multiple client accounts effectively
