Key Information

  • Salary: FTE £25,584 (Actual £22,177) per annum. Pro‑rated example for 25 hours per week: £14,984.74-£15,974.65.
  • Contract: Fixed‑Term until 31 August 2026 (possible extension).
  • Hours: 37 hours per week (core 8:25am‑3:25pm, Monday‑Friday, Term Time only plus 2 INSET days).
  • Position: Full‑time (part‑time considered).
  • Grade: JG4 (SCP 7 11).
  • Location: Bristol, England.

Responsibilities

  • Assist pupils with significant special educational needs, including speech and language difficulties, Down Syndrome and Autism;
  • Enable access to learning;
  • Support classroom management alongside the teacher;
  • Work in classroom or outside main teaching area.
