p strong About the Company /strong /p p At Lighthouse Safety, we are passionate about delivering high-quality training that changes minds and shapes futures. /p p br /p p strong Job Purpose /strong /p p To deliver high-quality, engaging Health Safety training across the Lighthouse Safety training portfolio, ensuring learners receive an effective, practical and professional training experience. /p p The primary focus of the role is the delivery of accredited and bespoke Health Safety training, including CITB, IOSH, Qualsafe and client-specific courses. The role will also provide Health Safety consultancy support to clients when required. /p p The role will be based from our training facility in Rainham, Kent, with training and consultancy delivered across London, Kent and the wider South East, including at client premises. /p p br /p p strong Key Responsibilities /strong /p ul li Deliver engaging and effective Health Safety training across the Lighthouse Safety course portfolio. /li li Deliver accredited courses including CITB Site Safety Plus, IOSH and Qualsafe First Aid, alongside bespoke Health Safety courses. /li li Ensure training is delivered in accordance with relevant awarding body requirements and Lighthouse Safety’s Quality Management System. /li li Complete all required course administration, assessment records and paperwork accurately and within agreed timescales. /li li Create an engaging learning environment and adapt delivery to meet the needs and experience of different learners. /li li Maintain current knowledge of Health Safety legislation, industry best practice and relevant training requirements. /li li Support the development and delivery of new and bespoke courses in response to client requirements. /li li Liaise with the Training General Manager regarding course requirements, learner feedback and opportunities to develop the training provision. /li li Assist with the development and delivery of bespoke training at client premises. /li li Deliver Toolbox Talks and other client-specific Health Safety sessions where appropriate. /li /ul p br /p p strong Skills Experience /strong /p p strong Essential /strong /p ul li Significant experience delivering Health Safety training. /li li Excellent presentation, communication and interpersonal skills. /li li Ability to engage and influence learners at all levels. /li li Strong practical knowledge of Health Safety. /li li Professional and confident approach when working with clients. /li li Strong organisational skills and attention to detail. /li li Ability to work independently and as part of a team. /li li Good IT skills, particularly Microsoft Office. /li /ul p strong Desirable /strong /p ul li PTLLS, EATs or equivalent teaching qualification. /li li CITB trainer/assessor approval. /li li IOSH membership. /li li Qualsafe training experience. /li li Experience delivering CITB, IOSH, First Aid and bespoke Health Safety courses. /li li Previous Health Safety consultancy experience, including site inspections, risk assessments, RAMS and COSHH assessments. /li /ul p br /p p strong Benefits /strong /p ul li 25 days annual leave plus bank holidays /li li Life assurance /li li Enhanced family benefits /li li Cycle to work scheme /li li Charity sponsorship opportunities /li li Employee discount scheme /li li Ongoing training and development /li /ul p br /p
