At Lighthouse Safety Training Ltd, we are passionate about delivering high-quality training that changes minds and shapes futures. We are seeking a Training & Office Manager to join our team on a part-time basis, working Monday, Thursday and Friday from 08:00-17:00. This is a varied and hands-on role where you will play a key part in coordinating training operations, managing office activity, supporting business administration, and ensuring an excellent experience for both clients and course attendees.
The Role
Working closely with the General Manager, you will oversee the planning and coordination of training courses, office operations, and trainer schedules, while ensuring the smooth running of the business. You will be responsible for:
- Managing and supporting a small team, providing guidance, organisation and day-to-day leadership
- Coordinating and scheduling trainers and consultant trainers
- Managing training capacity and maintaining a rolling programme of courses
- Supporting the administration and organisation of company accounts, subscriptions and contractors
- Overseeing office and training room environments, including Health & Safety compliance
- Maintaining relationships with accredited bodies and ensuring standards are met
- Producing quotations and supporting client enquiries
- Preparing training paperwork and contracts
- Assisting with training forecasts and identifying opportunities to maximise course capacity
About You
We are looking for someone who is:
- Experienced in managing or supervising a team within a busy office or operational environment
- Confident motivating, supporting and coordinating team members effectively
- Highly organised with excellent attention to detail
- Confident managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- A strong communicator with excellent customer service skills
- Proactive and able to work independently as well as part of a team
- Experienced in administration, scheduling or office management
- Comfortable using Microsoft Office and business systems
- Professional, reliable and adaptable
- Experience within a training, compliance or safety environment would be beneficial, but is not essential.
