Our client is an accountancy practice who take pride in offering first class support to business leaders. A friendly, proactive team, they are actively seeking an Office Manager to join them.
The ideal candidate will have all round nominal ledger experience to work in a small internal team. The candidate will be proactive and able to self-manage and will have day to day involvement in the running of the business providing information to decision makers.
Duties (include but are not limited to):
- Daily Bank Account Reconciliations (On Xero)
- Credit control
- Processing of supplier invoices and payments
- Liaising with a small number of suppliers
- Processing of direct debit collections (2-3 per Month)
- Raising of client invoices
- Providing highly confidential administrative support to 4 Directors
- Ad-hoc reporting to Managers
- Maintaining and ensuring the effective running of the company wellbeing policy
- Supervising and providing support to an Administrator
- General administrative duties including ordering equipment and supplies, reviewing supplier costs, and ensuring the smooth running of the office
- Occasional assistance at client events
Person Specification:
- Minimum 3 years’ accounts experience
- Trained Mental Health First Aider advantageous but not essential
- Working experience with Xero advantageous
- A proactive, well-organised individual with a great deal of initiative
- Excellent communication (both written and verbal) and presentation skills
