We are seeking experienced Prescribing Assessors for our ADHD assessment and treatment service for adults and children across the UK. The service provides fast, evidence-based diagnostic assessments, safe medication initiation and titration, and ongoing reviews.

You will deliver high-quality ADHD Assessments and diagnostic decisions. The role focuses on assessment and diagnosis, with the addition of independent prescribing. This is a contractor role based on a Remote (UK-based) model.

Key Responsibilities Include:

  • ADHD Assessment and Diagnosis
  • Conducting comprehensive ADHD assessments for adults and children in line with NICE NG87
  • Use of differential diagnostic tools
  • Documenting diagnostic outcomes and clinical rationale
  • Care Planning and Recommendations
    • Formulating and documenting treatment and support recommendations
    • Making recommendations for medication, psychoeducation and therapy
  • Risk, Safeguarding and Governance
    • Complete risk assessments and review safeguarding needs
    • Escalate concerns appropriately
  • Clinical Documentation
    • Create and maintain accurate clinical records
    • Produce assessment reports
  • Prescribing & Titration (V300)
    • Lead safe, evidence-based prescribing of ADHD medications in line with NICE NG87
    • Own the end-to-end titration pathway, optimising outcomes through structured monitoring and dose adjustment
    • Deliver high-quality medication reviews and ensure continuity of care
    • Assess and clear patients for treatment, including interpretation of baseline physical health checks
    • Operate confidently within controlled drug regulations and robust clinical governance frameworks
    • Support Shared Care with GPs and provide clear patient education
    • Provide clear, confident patient education to support adherence and informed decision-making
    • Maintain exceptional clinical documentation and escalate risk or complexity appropriately

    What We’re Looking For:

    • Current NMC or HCPC registration
    • Registered Nurse or Allied Health Professional
    • Non-Medical Prescribing (V300) Qualification
    • ADHD assessment and diagnosis experience in the private sector
    • Working knowledge of ADHD presentations
    • Experience with remote assessments
    • Ability to manage a caseload effectively
    • Good knowledge of legislation relevant to ADHD practice
