This is a part time role that could be worked on either a 52 weeks per year or term time only (39+3 weeks) basis.

  • 20 hours per week, 52 weeks per year OR
  • 21.5 hours per week, 39+3 weeks per year

Would you like to help young people with additional needs have a bright and fulfilling future? Would you like to have a life-changing, positive impact on their lives every day?

We have an exciting opportunity for someone to join our Supported Internship programme for young people with Education, Health and Care Plans. The Job Coach will work with young people with additional needs during their placements that will ultimately lead to paid work. They will be supporting the young people in the workplace and helping them to learn and do the job while they are on the internship programme.

Ideally, you should:

  • Be passionate about supporting and guiding young people
  • Be skilled and have experience of talking to employers
  • Be flexible and adaptable
  • Want to make a difference to the lives of young people with additional needs

Ideally candidates will hold a qualification in Supported Employment and be trained in Systematic Instruction. However, for the right candidate, this training will be provided.

The role is working across the Lighthouse Learning Trust, at both colleges, Richard Taunton Sixth Form College and St Vincent College. A driving license is required.
