Overview

We have a fantastic new vacancy for a Night Manager at Courtyard by Marriott Inverness Airport. Courtyard by Marriott Inverness Airport is a 130 bedroom hotel established in 2020. Situated on the doorstep of Inverness Airport, we aim to provide a comfortable and relaxed environment throughout the bar/bistro, one meeting room and a gymnasium. Courtyard by Marriott Inverness Airport is managed by Lighthouse Hotel Management, which is the operational arm of the Molo Hotel Group.

Responsibilities

  • Front Desk Excellence: Reporting directly into the Front Office Manager, you\\\'ll lead a team of enthusiastic front Night Auditors, inspiring them to provide outstanding service with a smile and ensuring every guest receives a warm welcome from arrival to departure.
  • Guest Engagement: Greet guests, anticipate their needs, build genuine connections, and strive to exceed expectations to create memorable stays and loyalty.
  • Supervision and Training: Oversee the nightly operations of the reception desk, mentor Night Auditors, and provide ongoing training to equip the team to deliver exceptional service.
  • Problem Solving: Address guest requests, complaints, and challenging situations with accuracy and efficiency, turning obstacles into opportunities to showcase guest satisfaction.
  • Collaboration: Coordinate with other departments, particularly the daytime reception team, and provide clear handovers to ensure seamless guest experiences.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in a similar role is desirable but not essential as full on-the-job training will be provided.
  • Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written. Additional language proficiency is a bonus.
  • A passion for delivering exceptional guest service with a friendly and approachable demeanor.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficient computer skills, including knowledge of hotel management systems.
  • Flexibility to work varying shifts, including weekends and holidays, as the hotel operates 24/7.
