As a Casual Front Office Team Member, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, providing warm welcomes and excellent customer service. Your role will be instrumental in ensuring smooth front desk operations, assisting guests with check-in and check-out, and supporting the overall guest experience at our busy airport hotel.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet and welcome guests with a friendly and professional attitude.
- Handle guest check-in and check-out procedures efficiently and accurately.
- Manage reservations, cancellations, and room allocations using the hotel’s booking system.
- Respond promptly to guest enquiries, requests, and feedback both in person and via phone or email.
- Assist with billing and payment processing ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
- Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure rooms are guest-ready.
- Maintain a tidy and organised front desk area at all times.
- Adhere to all health and safety and security policies and procedures.
- Support other team members and undertake additional duties as required.
Qualifications & Skills
- Previous experience in front office or customer service, preferably within the catering & hospitality sector.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a friendly and approachable manner.
- Strong organisational abilities and attention to detail.
- Ability to work flexibly, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays as required.
- Proficient with computer systems and reservation software; experience with hotel PMS is an advantage.
- Ability to remain calm and professional under pressure.
- A passion for delivering outstanding guest service and creating memorable experiences.
