Alfanar Energy UK & our subsidiary Lighthouse Green Fuels are developing the largest Advanced Sustainable Aviation Fuel (SAF) project in Europe, utilising first-of-it\’s-kind technology and attracting a £1.5 billion investment package. We\’re currently seeking an experienced individual to join us on a staff basis in London as a Senior Control & Instrumentation Engineer. This is a key role for us as we progress through FEED into EPC phase and further, and will be responsible for supporting all Control and Instrumentation design and execution Project activities, while guaranteeing compliance with HSE, Company objectives, Local and International Standards, and good practices during the entire Project’s life cycle. The role will also involve field engineering activities with the aim of ensuring high-quality Project delivery, on-cost and on-time.

Responsibilities

  • FEED and EPC activities, including review of deliverables related to Field Instrumentation and Control Systems
  • Review of technical offers from Suppliers and Vendors
  • Participation in safety reviews (Hazid, Hazop and SiL)
  • Participation in Factory and Site acceptance testing
  • Support field engineering activities
  • Support commissioning and start-up
  • Support existing Facilities evaluation and modification

Who we\’re seeking

  • 5 – 10 years C&I experience within O&G, refining or chemical processing sector.
  • Experience in FEED / EPC Projects
  • Experience in Factory and Site acceptance testing.
  • Good knowledge of UK and International Standards
  • Experience on UK based projects
  • Degree qualified in Engineering
