Alfanar Energy UK, via our subsidiary Lighthouse Green Fuels, are developing the largest Advanced Sustainable Aviation Fuel (SAF) project in Europe, utilising first-of-its-kind technology and attracting a ~£2 billion investment package. It’s a very exciting time to be joining us as our project gathers pace and the UK Government puts legislation in place to mandate SAF usage.
We’re currently seeking an experienced individual to come on board in London as Risk Management Lead. This is a key role for the company as we further scale the project, and will be responsible for leading all risk management activities of the LGF project with the aim of ensuring flawless execution, in line with the forecast budget, schedule, technical and safety performance targets.
- Devise, implement and maintain appropriate technology and engineering risk management plans to ensure certainty of performance of the constructed plant.
- Implement an appropriate Project Development Risk Management process to track the development progress and quantify the outstanding level of development risk.
- Develop and maintain the overall project risk management plan.
- Leading risk identification activities.
- Managing the development of risk management plans.
- Maintaining the risk register.
- Expediting and managing the closure of risk management activities identified in risk management plans.
- Reporting on the status of the Risk Management plan to senior management.
Minimum of 10 years of experience in risk assessment within the process/petrochemicals/O&G industries.
~5 years of demonstrated experience in a lead Risk Management Role for capital investment projects.
~Demonstrated experience of risk management throughout the full project life cycle.
~Demonstrated experience of risk management in the FEED and Development stages of projects.
~Experience of UK based projects.
~Professional training & qualifications in Risk Management.
