Responsibilities:
- Work closely with the Engineers and other disciplines to get the most of the engine and hardware.
- Plan and deliver large bodies of work.
- Produce clean and robust code, following all standards and guidelines, including the use of automated testing processes.
- Pro-actively seek opportunities to improve the quality of everything we do.
- Seek out opportunities to improve your skills as a game developer.
- Actively take part in our collaborative and creative team spirit.
Requirements:
- Experience working as an Engine or Rendering Engineer on one or more AAA titles.
- Solid understanding of code architecture and best practices.
- Able to plan and deliver high quality work reliably, with minimal oversight.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Eye for detail, and drive to push quality in all areas.
- Passion for games and gaming technology.
- Highly adept in C++.
- Experience of performance profiling tools and optimisation techniques.
Desirable:
- Experience in Unreal Engine.
- Experience working on open-world titles.
- Knowledge of current generation console hardware and optimisation.
- Experience with data-orientated design.
