Lighthouse Games is a new AAA studio in Leamington Spa, committed to redefining the gaming experience through innovation and creativity. We are seeking a talented and experienced 3D Animator to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for crafting compelling animations that elevate our characters and bring our storytelling to life. Work alongside industry veterans and contribute to the creation of a best-in-class game that resonates with players.

Key Responsibilities:
- Design and produce high-quality animations for characters and cinematics, ensuring a seamless integration within the game environment.
- Collaborate closely with game designers, artists, and programmers to develop animations that fulfill gameplay requirements while adhering to the overall artistic vision.
- Iterate and refine animations based on feedback from the lead to ensure optimal performance and player immersion.
- Stay abreast of industry trends and tools, continuously seeking opportunities to enhance animation quality and workflow efficiency.
- Professional animation experience in the video game industry, with a focus on mocap character animation.
- Demonstrated expertise in Maya and/or MotionBuilder.
- Strong understanding of realistic animation principles. Mocap clean-up and keyframing.
- A compelling portfolio showcasing diverse animations and realistic character animations.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
- Exceptional communication skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
- A genuine passion for gaming and storytelling through animation.
- Experience with facial animation techniques is highly desirable.
