We looking for a Conveyancing Assistant to join our award winning Lender Finance / Bridging team. You will be responsible for working within a team or experienced Solicitors and Licensed Conveyancers managing a caseload of bridging, buy to let mortgages for our lender clients.
This role is a hybrid role and two days can be worked remotely following a successful probation period.
Responsibilities

  • Managing case files to a high standard
  • Advising and communicating with clients to ensure they are up to date on their matter
  • Time recording and meeting all compliance requirements
  • Conduct legal research
  • Handling completion monies
  • Preparing invoices and ensuring all fees are accounted for prior to completion
  • Reporting on title upon completion
  • Dealing with post-completion work, such as redemptions, consent to lease, s106 approval and so forth
Qualifications
  • We will consider experience conveyancers without a current formal qualification with an aspiration to qualify as a Property Solicitor or Licensed Conveyancer.
  • Minimum 3 years experience in similar role as a conveyancing assistant
Key Skills
  • Excellent Knowledge of conveyancing is essential
  • Solid written and verbal communication skills are needed
  • Ability to be proactive and handle a busy workload
  • Ability to perform well under pressure and work to tight deadlines
  • Ability to handle a fast-paced working environment
