We looking for a Conveyancing Assistant to join our award winning Lender Finance / Bridging team. You will be responsible for working within a team or experienced Solicitors and Licensed Conveyancers managing a caseload of bridging, buy to let mortgages for our lender clients.
This role is a hybrid role and two days can be worked remotely following a successful probation period.
Responsibilities
- Managing case files to a high standard
- Advising and communicating with clients to ensure they are up to date on their matter
- Time recording and meeting all compliance requirements
- Conduct legal research
- Handling completion monies
- Preparing invoices and ensuring all fees are accounted for prior to completion
- Reporting on title upon completion
- Dealing with post-completion work, such as redemptions, consent to lease, s106 approval and so forth
- We will consider experience conveyancers without a current formal qualification with an aspiration to qualify as a Property Solicitor or Licensed Conveyancer.
- Minimum 3 years experience in similar role as a conveyancing assistant
- Excellent Knowledge of conveyancing is essential
- Solid written and verbal communication skills are needed
- Ability to be proactive and handle a busy workload
- Ability to perform well under pressure and work to tight deadlines
- Ability to handle a fast-paced working environment
