We are seeking an experienced Commercial Property Solicitor to advise clients on a wide variety of commercial real estate matters including general sales and purchases of commercial property, secured lending, commercial leases and development work. The role will have a particular focus on clients in the agricultural sector so prior experience of agricultural matters would be desirable but not essential.
This is a new senior role reporting directly to the Partners with extensive opportunity to build experience and client following in undertaking varied and complex work within a supportive and expanding commercial property department.
Key Responsibilities- Advising and handling acquisitions and disposal transactions;
- Negotiating commercial leases and advising on related landlord / tenant issues;
- Advising on secured lending transactions;
- Advising on development transactions including options and promotions, Section 106 Agreements and solar / battery storage agreements;
- Advising on easements and wayleaves;
- Liaising with clients, clients’ agents, borrowers, asset managers, buyers’ solicitors, etc.
