About the role
This is a newly created role within the software and fleet technology sector, focused on bridging our customers and our innovative products through professional installation, servicing, and removal of Lightfoot devices in customer vehicles. We are looking for someone to deliver outstanding workmanship, maintain the highest safety standards, and create a positive, confident experience for every customer you work with. This role gives you the opportunity to work hands-on with customers and cutting-edge software that’s helping make driving safer, greener, and smarter.
This role comes with a vehicle and all the equipment you will need.
Hours: 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday
Location: This is a remote role that includes travel throughout the UK. We are ideally looking for candidates based in or around Manchester or the wider North, to support installations across northern and surrounding areas.
Key duties and responsibilities
- Complete installations, removals, and service calls to Lightfoot's best-in-class standards.
- Represent the Lightfoot brand professionally at customer sites.
- Ensure compliance with H&S policies, PPE usage, and risk assessments.
- Accurately record work completed using Salesforce/Portal applications.
- Provide first-line technical feedback on installation challenges to our internal operations teams based in Exeter.
- Maintain company vehicle, tools, and stock (kits, consumables, PPE).
Key skills, experience and qualifications
- Previous experience in auto-electrical, telematics, or fleet technology fitting preferred.
- Strong problem-solving and fault-finding skills.
- Customer-facing experience with professional communication.
- Full UK driving licence, DBS clearance required.
