Lightflows, a digital agency based in the UK, is looking for a skilled freelance SEO specialist to support and enhance our growing portfolio of client and internal digital projects. This part-time role is ideal for an experienced SEO professional looking for consistent, high-quality work without a full-time commitment.
What we’re looking for
We\’re seeking someone with demonstrable experience in:
- Running and optimising SEO strategies across varied industries and audiences
- Using industry-standard SEO tools including SEMRush, Ahrefs, Google Search Console, and Google Analytics
- Analysing data confidently and working in spreadsheets to extract insights, identify opportunities, and communicate findings clearly
You should be able to work independently, deliver meaningful insights, and implement or guide implementation for SEO wins that improve traffic, ranking, and visibility.
Responsibilities
You will be responsible for SEO activities across Lightflows’ own site and client projects. Key duties include:
- Keyword research: Identifying high-impact keywords to guide content planning and optimisation
- Performance and rank tracking: Monitoring site and page rankings, keyword performance, and engagement metrics
- On-page optimisation: Auditing and optimising pages for structure, metadata, copy, internal linking, and UX signals
- Backlink strategy: Identifying backlink opportunities, monitoring existing links, and contributing to a white-hat backlink profile
- Technical SEO: Running audits and ensuring proper indexing, crawlability, speed, structured data, and mobile responsiveness
Availability
Start date: Mid-August 2025
Commitment: 4 days per month (with potential to increase over time)
Compensation
Rate: Negotiable depending on experience
