We’re seeking an experienced WordPress/WooCommerce Developer to build, customize, and maintain WooCommerce stores and WordPress websites. This is a hands‑on role focused on performance, security, and delivering exceptional user experiences. Candidates without WooCommerce experience will not be considered.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, customize, and maintain WordPress sites and WooCommerce stores.
- Build custom themes and plugins, and extend existing ones to meet business needs.
- Integrate third‑party APIs, payment gateways, and extensions.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve functional and performance issues.
- Optimize site speed, caching, and front‑end delivery for improved UX and SEO.
- Implement and enforce security best practices and regular maintenance (patches, backups).
- Collaborate with designers, product managers, and QA to deliver features on schedule.
- Produce clean, well‑documented code and contribute to technical documentation.
Nice-to-Have
- Experience with headless WordPress / REST API / GraphQL.
- Familiarity with modern build tools (Webpack, npm/yarn) and CSS preprocessors (Sass/LESS).
- Experience with CI/CD and containerized deployments.
