Company Description: LighterHR is an established and growing HR Consultancy. We provide support to clients of all sizes, from start-ups to multi-nationals in a broad range of industry sectors. We pride ourselves on building long-term relationships with our clients and working with them on both day-to-day operational HR activities and more strategic HR initiatives.

About the role: The role of HR Executive at LighterHR is pivotal in providing service to our clients. You'll be responsible for supporting recruitment activity, onboarding employees, and processing leavers. You'll gain exposure to complex employee relations issues and further your knowledge of HR documentation including contracts and policies.

Key responsibilities:
  • Managing end-to-end recruitment and onboarding processes.
  • Processing requests for changes to employment terms.
  • Updating HR systems.
  • Managing leavers processes to acknowledge receipt of resignation, calculate outstanding holiday, and ensure payroll is updated.
  • Supporting with monthly payroll processes.
  • Reviewing policies, procedures, and handbooks.
  • Running regular reports for holiday, sickness, and right to work.
  • Supporting the HR Consultants with ER cases and any other tasks as required.

About you: To succeed in this role you need lots of common sense, an ability to follow processes but also adapt those processes to deal with specific situations, and exceptional attention to detail. You need to care about delivering great service to our clients.

What we offer: The role will be based in London. We operate a hybrid working model; however, this is not contractual as we need to put the requirements of our clients first. We use the first three months of employment to train you and familiarise you with our ways of working. After this time, we aim for a work pattern of two days from home and three days in the office, subject to client needs. You will receive 25 holidays per year plus 2 volunteering days. This role requires an immediate start.
