LighterHR is an established HR Consultancy with offices in London and Manchester. We provide support to all size clients, from start-ups to multi-nationals in a broad range of industry sectors. We pride ourselves on building long-term relationships with our clients and working with them on both day-to-day operational HR activities and more strategic HR initiatives. We are very proud of the client base that we've built, and we count ourselves extremely lucky to be able to do great work, with great clients and a great team. We are now looking to add an HR Consultant to our team. This is a fantastic opportunity to further your HR experience supporting a client base across many different sectors such as Creative Advertising Agencies, Manufacturing, Technology, Research & Development, and Finance.
Provide HR guidance to clients on HR matters, considering the different courses of action available, discussing associated risks, and preparing relevant information and guidance notes. Execute ER processes on a client's behalf, ensuring the client is kept fully informed of progress and consulted regarding all decisions. Deliver projects that improve a client's HR processes and capabilities, aligning best practices with solutions appropriate to the client.
HR experience gained in a fast-paced environment and covering complex ER matters. Passion for delivering an exceptional client experience and building long-lasting relationships with clients. Ability to manage many complex matters simultaneously, while managing client expectations and contributing to the development of LighterHR. Commercial awareness and client management skills (especially for those transitioning from in-house HR roles to consultancy).
Hybrid working model (subject to client needs). 25 holidays per year plus 2 volunteering days. An opportunity to learn through doing, with exposure to complex cases from early on in your career. Initial three-month training period to familiarize with the company's ways of working and client requirements.
The role will be based in London. During the first three months of employment, employees are required to be in the office for 5 days each week. After this period, the work pattern aims for two days from home and three days in the office, subject to client needs. Consultancy requires a great deal of flexibility, and the hybrid working model is not contractual as client requirements take precedence. For the avoidance of doubt, LighterHR is the employer (not a recruitment agency).
