This role involves working directly with our Marketing Lead to shape how Lightdash presents itself at events, in the community, and through partnerships. You will have ownership over event decisions, community building, and content creation.
What you'll actually work on:
- Events: Manage our events calendar, decide on conference attendance, and handle logistics including venues, vendors, and speaker coordination.
- Community: Nurture our community of data practitioners on platforms like Slack and LinkedIn, keeping it active and fostering relationships.
- Content: Create blog posts and social content based on events, product launches, and customer conversations.
- Other tasks: Assist with content, social media, or campaigns as needed.
What we're looking for:
- 1+ years of experience in running events or community programmes, preferably in B2B tech.
- Strong communication skills, both written and in-person.
- Organised and able to meet deadlines while managing vendors effectively.
- Proficient in using AI tools to enhance productivity.
- Proactive in identifying and addressing tasks.
- Willingness to learn across various marketing areas.
