Join as one of the first dedicated full-cycle Sales hires at Lightdash, building out our GTM team.

About Lightdash: Lightdash is the only Agentic BI platform for modern data teams - an AI-native BI tool where agents build, update, and manage dashboards for you. Instead of forcing teams into dashboards and chatbots, Lightdash allows data teams to use AI to create, update, and maintain analytics using code. With native dbt integration, a governed semantic layer, and the Lightdash MCP server, teams can build entire BI layers from their terminal, IDE, or CI workflows. Lightdash is built for modern data teams who want analytics to move as fast as software. No chatbots. No waiting on the data team. Just developers automating BI end-to-end.

Role Overview: In this role, you’ll be talking and demoing to our customers and building relationships for the future. You will be running technical demos of the product and be a product expert for our customers. As one of the first dedicated sales hires at Lightdash, you will be a builder-seller hybrid, working to transform our customer wins into a structured, repeatable sales motion.

What you won’t be doing:

  • Bringing along other folks on sales calls. You’ll be in these chats 1:1 with prospects and expected to be able to be an expert on all things Lightdash. Rarely, engineers or analytics engineers from the team will join, but only when they’re needed for things like new product features or specific technical troubleshooting.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Bring leads from our ecosystem into the sales funnel, nurturing and building 1:1 relationships.
  • Running product demos on your own without sales engineers - our customers love us since we speak data, we’ll expect you to be able to do this too.
  • Own the full sales cycle while documenting what works to create a scalable process for sales.
  • Provide voice-of-customer feedback to product team.
  • Contribute to sales collateral for future deals.
  • Help test and validate new sales approaches.
