This role involves working directly with our Marketing Lead to manage how Lightdash presents itself at events, in the community, and through partnerships. You will have ownership over event decisions, community building, and content creation.

What you’ll actually work on:

  • Events: You will own our events calendar, deciding which conferences to attend and managing logistics such as venues, vendors, speaker coordination, and registrations.
  • Community: You will nurture our community of data practitioners, keeping it active and building genuine relationships.
  • Content: You will turn events and conversations into blog posts and social content, managing production across our marketing calendar.
  • Other tasks: As a startup, you may assist with content, social media, or campaigns.

What we’re looking for:

  • 1+ years of experience running events or community programmes, preferably in B2B tech.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and in-person.
  • Organised and proactive, ensuring deadlines are met and tasks are completed.
  • Familiarity with AI tools to enhance productivity.
  • Excitement about learning various aspects of marketing.

Bonus:

  • Familiarity with tools like Attio, Google Analytics, Figma, and Framer.
  • Existing relationships in the data/analytics/dbt community.
