As a HR Business Partner at Lightcast Discovery, you will bring your passion and energy for delivering excellent employee experience as well as adaptability to an ever-changing environment. You will work closely with business leaders in the UK and US, delivering hands on and proactive support across all areas of HR, influencing decision making and leading impactful initiatives across talent, engagement and change. This is a high-impact role for an experienced HRBP who thrives in a fast-paced, agile environment, brings commercial insight, and isn't afraid to challenge and innovate. You'll be a trusted advisor, using data and expertise to deliver real business outcomes and build a high-performing, future-ready workforce.
Key Responsibilities
- Guidance and advice: You will provide coaching, guidance and advice to your client group on a wide range of people matters, including employee relations, performance, and organisational change, ensuring decisions are fair, consistent and aligned with policy, employment law and business objectives.
- Project support: Lead and support the delivery of key HR and business projects by partnering with stakeholders to plan, implement and embed change initiatives.
- Talent Management: Own and drive the talent management agenda by partnering with leaders to identify, develop, and retain high-potential talent through designing and delivering training.
- Culture and Engagement: Lead and embed a high-performance, inclusive culture by partnering with leaders to design and deliver engagement strategies, using data-driven insights to enhance employee experience, strengthen organisational values, and drive sustained improvements in engagement, retention, and overall business performance.
- Talent Acquisition: Coach Hiring Managers through recruitment exercises, advising on process, role design and compliance to ensure the attraction, selection and on-boarding of high-calibre candidates, through knowledge of your client group, supporting the delivery of exceptional candidate experience.
Skills and Qualifications
Essential
- Preferably have a level 5 CIPD qualification, or the equivalent experience.
- Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills, with the ability to challenge constructively.
- Excellent coaching and advisory skills for supporting managers and leaders.
- Strong knowledge of employee relations, UK employment law, and HR best practice.
- Great project management skills with the ability to prioritise and deliver multiple initiatives.
Desirable
- Experience of managing/ administering 'Bob' HRIS.
- Experience working in a scale-up company.
