About Light

In simple terms, Light is a financial platform that seeks to supercharge finance teams at fast-growing and global companies, allowing them to make smarter decisions faster and more efficiently. Our platform leverages agents that work alongside finance teams to do everything your team used to do by hand. We build with our customers, ship fast, and obsess over craft. In a short time, Light has gone from an idea to the operating core for leading companies like Lovable, Legora, and Fuse Energy. We're an early team seeking to define a new software category, leveraging all the new methods and technologies at our disposal to solve problems faced by finance professionals. We're not afraid to dive into problems and make changes as we go along. We share ideas, act as sounding boards for each other, and push each other to be bold in what we build!

About the role

In short, you'll be right in the thick of it, supporting our GTM team in growing Light's business. We have ambitious targets, and hitting them takes creative thinking and fast action. This role is central to that effort. You'll be our go-to technical whiz, putting our tools to work on everything from identifying the right companies to target, to giving everyone the insights they need to sharpen their game and free up time for what matters most: closing deals. Although we do not expect you to have any experience with the tools we use, having some experience with Claude Code, Lovable or anything related could be useful.

Daily Responsibilities

  • Working with managers and team leads to understand the specifications for what needs to be built (i.e. what is required to build an automated coaching agent)
  • Using various tools to build these agents, ensuring you are building efficient prompts and workflows
  • Outlining testing frameworks for the agents you have built and then testing them with the team
  • Iterating after testing, launching and getting feedback to make further refinements
  • Communicating what you have built to the team clearly and effectively
  • Documenting what you have built, so it can easily be picked up by someone else

About you

  • You're not deterred by problems; rather, you're curious and driven to solve whatever is put in front of you
  • You figure things out by doing, not afraid to experiment with a tool you've never used before
  • You enjoy working with others to build exciting things that make a tangible difference
  • Currently enrolled to a course or graduated in 2025
