You must have experience in audio post production. Light Year Post is a fast-growing company providing a full range of audio post-production services including mixing, Dolby Atmos, FX Editing, ADR, Dubbing & Voice Over Recording.
You will have the chance to work with a brilliant community of engineers, artists, clients and people from all walks of life in a constantly evolving company with great opportunities for development and growth.
Main Job Tasks and Responsibilities:
- Record ADR
- Dubbing records
- FX Editing & Track Laying
- Long Form Mixing
- Comfortable with re-cabling
- Machine Room maintenance & ideally re-wiring
- Record voice overs in client attended sessions for all broadcast media
- Direct voices in non-attended sessions
- Edit and mix audio to comply with client specific delivery requirements
- Ideally managing IT (but not essential)

Education and Experience:
- Three years experience of Audio Post
- Strong Technical Knowledge
- Pro Tools User
- ADR experience, FX Editing & Track Laying
- Solid understanding of analogue digital signal flows and routing
- Knowledge of audio and video formats, and digital workflows
- Loudness metering and broadcast compliance
- Ability to work to tight deadlines and balance on-going sessions
- Self-starter with the ability to manage your own time
- Being able to work under pressure and committed to finishing to agreed deadlines
- Confident communicator
- Strong attention to detail
- Remote recording via Source Connect & SLP
