Reporting directly to the Senior Director of Engineering, you’ll play a key role in designing and delivering cutting‑edge mechanical and electromechanical solutions. From concept through to implementation, you’ll contribute to the development of new products while enhancing existing ones helping shape the future of our electronic gaming machines.

You’ll be responsible for producing high‑quality design models and detailed CAD data, ensuring precision, performance, and reliability across our product portfolio. Key Responsibilities

  • Design and deliver innovative mechanical and electromechanical solutions for new products and product enhancements, aligning with project requirements and business objectives.
  • Create high‑quality, detailed CAD models and design data to support the development of industry‑leading electronic gaming machines.
  • Translate project briefs, requirements documents, and engineering inputs into practical, manufacturable design solutions.
  • Produce clear, accurate design documentation for internal teams, suppliers, and third‑party partners, ensuring compliance with all relevant Health & Safety and regulatory standards.
  • Manage and maintain project documentation, providing realistic timelines and progress updates throughout the design lifecycle.
  • Contribute to project planning, offering insightful input on feasibility, risks, and technical considerations.
  • Collaborate cross‑functionally by attending project meetings and actively contributing ideas, solutions, and expertise.
  • Gather, interpret, and document customer requirements (both internal and external), ensuring alignment and clarity throughout the development process.

What you’ll bring to the role:

  • Proven experience using 3D CAD tools, ideally SolidWorks.
  • A broad understanding of multiple engineering disciplines, with the ability to apply this knowledge in practical design scenarios.
  • Strong knowledge of design for manufacture (DFM) principles and value engineering approaches.
  • A hands‑on mindset, with experience supporting workshop prototyping and product development.
  • Excellent problem‑solving skills and the ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, dynamic environment.
  • Effective communication skills, with the ability to clearly convey technical concepts to a range of stakeholders.
  • Experience within the gaming industry (desirable but not essential).
  • Familiarity with PLM Manufacturing systems and an understanding of electrical connectivity (advantageous).

Qualifications

A degree or HNC/D in Mechanical Engineering.
