As a Quality Engineer, you will be supporting the Quality Assurance function across product compliance, supplier management, internal processes, and product lifecycle administration. This role is an excellent opportunity for someone at the early stage of their career such as a recent graduate or emerging professional who is eager to grow, learn, and make a real impact in a quality-focused environment.
You’ll be based full-time at our warehouse site, giving you the chance to be fully hands-on with our products and processes. This close connection to the operation means you’ll see the real impact of your work every day and develop your skills faster in a dynamic, practical environment.

Key Responsibilities:
- Quality Assurance & Compliance Support
- Assist with the examination and evaluation of new products and prototypes.
- Support the EMC process and maintain documentary evidence for self-declaration.
- Carry out emission and immunity testing when required.
- Assist with monitoring rejects and supplier issues.
- Ensure calibration and maintenance of mechanical test equipment, including asset logging.
- Approve new setups and production builds by contract manufacturers and suppliers, using ISO 9001 principles and AQL measures.
- Administration of concessions within the business and with external suppliers.
- Assist with the ISO 9001 audit process and manage non-conformances and corrective actions using Q-Pulse (document management system).
- Produce and distribute audit reports and non-conformance summaries via Q-Pulse.
- Administer and improve the Q Pulse system for quality management.
- Oversee document management and circulation, including new and revised documents, within Q Pulse.
- Maintain and update the audit question bank in Q Pulse.
- Assist in designing and implementing SOPs.
- Support RFW (Request For Work) processes including Smartsheet administration.
- Participate in BAU calls and hardware meetings.
- Assist with testing samples for end-of-life or alternative items.
- Oversee initial inspection reports, requests for work, and requests for change.
- Administer ECO (Engineering Change Order) final approval stages through Oracle.
- Assist with the administration of product configuration sheets, including documentation of firmware requirements.
- Participate in supplier and project meetings.
- Communicate RFW, RFC (Request For Change), and ISIR (Initial Sample Inspection Report) updates.
- Support reporting on Critical Issues.
- Help manage incident report logs.
- Raise purchase requisitions via iProcurement.
What we're looking for:
- Analytical/problem-solving mindset (interpreting test results/issues, data analysis and supporting corrective actions).
- Knowledge of quality assurance fundamentals (inspection, defect/reject monitoring, root-cause awareness).
- ISO 9001/QMS awareness and application.
- SOP writing and process design (helping create and implement standard operating procedures).
- Smartsheet administration (maintaining sheets, workflows, trackers, updates).
- Product lifecycle & change control (ECO administration; change approval support).
- Strong attention to detail and record-keeping (accurate documentation and traceability).
- Must be trained or willing to train in internal auditing.
- Good communication skills.
- Ability to work on own initiative and act as part of a team.
- Ability to review and work from technical drawings.
- Strong customer focus.
- Continuous improvement mindset.
- Knowledge of Oracle or similar ERP systems.
- Proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint etc.
Qualifications:
- Degree (or equivalent) in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, Manufacturing/Production, or Quality Engineering.
- Six Sigma and Lean certifications are preferred.
