Position Summary
Light & Wonder is looking for a driven and detail-oriented Group Accountant to join our Technical Reporting team.
This is an ideal opportunity for a newly qualified accountant making their first move from practice into industry, offering broad exposure, real ownership, and the chance to work as part of a high-performing team of subject matter experts.
As a Group Accountant within Technical Reporting, you will take ownership of legal entity reporting across multiple global jurisdictions, playing a key role in delivering statutory accounts and managing audits end-to-end.
Working closely with teams across the business, you’ll provide technical accounting insight, translating complex issues into clear, practical guidance.

- What You’ll Do
- Take ownership of statutory accounts and audit projects across multiple global entities, ensuring timely and accurate delivery
- Identify potential issues early and take proactive steps to resolve them throughout the reporting cycle
- Review legal entity management accounts throughout the year to drive timely corrective action
- Build and manage strong relationships with external auditors, acting as a key point of contact throughout audit processes
- Prepare technical accounting papers and high-quality audit schedules, including support for revenue recognition reviews
- Collaborate with internal teams including GL, Tax, Treasury, and Internal Audit to support audit and reporting requirements
- Monitor legal entity compliance in partnership with the Co Sec function
- Plan and lead project meetings to ensure efficient delivery of key milestones
- Contribute to and deliver finance improvement and transformation projects
- Ensure adherence to internal policies, procedures, and SOX requirements
